Drew this while watching several movies on the tele today. I got inspired by Warhammer Online concept and some other things while surfing the net for reference pictures. Oh and Diablo 3. That game is going to be of the sicc!!

Anywho, I'll probably color this... sometime this week. Got other stuff going on that has priority.

Alright, here's day 2 of the landscape painting stuff. once again, "weh." turned out ok. could definitely be better. Anyway I'll probably post these in bulk later on, so i'm not flooding the blog with too many posts.

Landscape/color/technique practice

so i was bored tonight and decided to practice some landscape painting and color theory stuff.

i got a pre-existing painting and attempted to recreate it through photoshop. ehh.. did a so-so job. wasn't digging the trees so i pretty much just blotched them in there. this was actually a daily practice i've received in my concept art class at school last quarter, which i did not do... so i shall do them now! haha hopefully, if i discipline myself enough, i can do one a day.

so yea, here's the recreation. i like how the mountains turned out. not the mid/foreground stuff though...

Head Studies

well, i've had a bad habit of drawing faces, or just drawing rather, too "japanime'ish." so i'm trying to break out of that by drawing more realistic. and i've been working on breaking out of that for a while now haha

this is some head/face studies i've done earlier this week. face planes are a pain...

Alpha

Sweet, finally got around to starting a blog.

Anyway, this blog will most likely consist mostly of sketches and 'do-dads' of future concept works. I hope to get some honest/constructive critiques as I post up artwork.
