Warlord, now available in color.

Whoa, putting an image on the left side is weiiiird! haha So I got around to coloring this, and I like how it turned out for the most part. I'm pretty sure it can be better... but I feel the need to move on to something new. Maybe the gladiator... We shall see!

I was inspired by Hethe Srodawa's way of painting his background on a few of his character paintings on his portfolio. I think it fits quite wel.

So the color palette for this guy... I definitely wanted some variations of browns and a brown'ish orange, similar to the newer Prince of Persia game. And a darker/cooler blue to offset all the warm browns and oranges.

Enviro Painting

Yet another painting for Advanced Animation Drawing. This was pretty fun to do. Somewhat easier than trying to make a character ahah But the colors definitely make it equally as difficult.

Environment Color Comps

I grabbed 2 thumbnails I like and threw on some colors to them. I personally like the 2nd set better. But I don't know on which color scheme to go with. Maybe a night time scene? Not sure... Maybe I'll throw some colors on to another thumbnail I like.
